DocConvert Pro ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Data We Collect

• Account information — If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google. This is used only for authentication.
• Guest mode — If you use Guest mode, no personal information is collected.
• Files — All file conversion happens locally on your device. Your files are never uploaded to our servers.
• Conversion history — Stored locally on your device only. Never transmitted to us.
• Advertising — We use Google AdMob to show ads to free users. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Purchase information — If you subscribe to Pro, the transaction is handled entirely by Google Play. We receive only a confirmation of the purchase, not your payment details.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To authenticate your account (Google Sign-In)
• To provide and improve the app's features
• To show relevant ads to free-tier users (via AdMob)
• To process and verify in-app purchases (via Google Play)

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties, except as described below:

• Google Firebase — used for authentication. Firebase Privacy Policy
• Google AdMob — used for advertising on free tier. Google Privacy Policy
• Google Play Billing — used for subscriptions. Google Play Privacy

4. Data Retention

Your conversion history is stored only on your device and can be cleared at any time from Settings → Clear History. If you delete your account (Settings → Delete Account), all associated data including your Firebase account is permanently deleted.

5. Your Rights

• Access your data: your email is visible in Settings
• Delete your account: Settings → Account Actions → Delete Account
• Clear your history: Settings → Storage → Clear History
• Opt out of ads: upgrade to Pro

6. Children's Privacy

DocConvert Pro is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

7. Security

All data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. All files are processed on your device and never leave it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted here with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the new policy.
